It displays a complex, perfumed nose of dense brambly fruit, mocha and aniseed with hints of vanilla and mint. The palate is plush and full with flavours of black plum, dark chocolate and liquorice. Mouth coating, velvety tannins give the wine great power and drive, and will allow it a long life in the cellar.
