Sophie, a Gamilaroi Yinarr woman based in Tamworth, NSW, has been creating collectible textile art since 2017, drawing inspiration from the landscapes of Gomeroi country. Using traditional weaving techniques with contemporary materials, she transforms bold colour and texture into modern forms. This distinctive piece
