In silver gilt, a white enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, three smooth rays in each quadrant, the obverse medallion presents Fascist state symbolism in enamels, surrounded by a red enamel ring inscribed AL MERITO SANITARIO, the reverse in blue enamels presents a white enamelled cross with a wreath and crown, the cross is surmounted by a half enamelled wreath, measures
