Russia, Imperial. An Order of St. Vladimir, IV Class in Gold, Civil Division, c.1830 Archive white (Tibetans) and black (Muslims)( ). Instituted September 22nd, 1782. In 14K Gold, a beautiful St. Vladimir in the form of a cross pattee with red and black bulbous enamel arms (typical of early produced crosses), with delicately hand painted insignia, the reverse inscribed in Russian with the institution date September 22, 1782, on a loop for suspension with original ribbon, loop marked with French Gold import mark, measures 34. 5 mm (w) x 39. 5mm (h), weighs (with original ribbon)
