Germany, Imperial. A Large Braunschweig-Style Totenkopf Headgear Emblem Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic obverse bearing the coat of(Braunschweiger Totenkopf fr die Pelzmtze). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Braunschweiger style Totenkopf, the reverse retaining two lugs for headgear attachment, unmarked, measuring 72 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), one lug is missing and the base metal demonstrates total loss of finish, an emblem most commonly applied to a busby in very fine condition.
